Building a Server for AJAX Chat Application

Hi Guys

I am building a new server to run this open source AJAX chat application.

I am trying to figure out if I should run it on my Linux or Win2008 Server. The app requires Ruby and PHP, both of which are cross platform. Hit me up if you tried this before.
